Experienced Attorney Dedicated to Your Family Law Needs

“Helping clients through their family law issues is my exclusive legal practice. I understand the compassion and advocacy domestic clients need and how to guide them through the difficulties they face in divorce, custody, support, and abuse matters.”

For over three decades, I have dedicated my legal career exclusively to family law, offering steady guidance through life’s most challenging transitions. Whether resolving disputes through negotiation, litigation, or collaboration, I believe in solutions that protect families and promote peace of mind.

Kristen Z. Fath is a Montgomery County native and holds a degree in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University and two law degrees from Villanova University School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1991, her Juris Doctor in 1994, and her Master of Laws in Taxation in 1996.

Upon her law school graduation and the passage of both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Exams in 1994, Ms. Fath began practicing in many areas of the law.  She soon thereafter discovered her passion for family law and focused her practice on all aspects of family law in Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties until 2005 when she and her family relocated to Georgia.  After a four year residence in Georgia where she became licensed to practice and continued her legal education, she returned to the practice of family law in Pennsylvania in 2009.  In 2013, she opened the Family Law Office of Kristen Z. Fath, LLC.

Ms. Fath is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Superior Courts of Georgia. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the State Bar of Georgia.

Ms. Fath volunteers her time as a pro bono attorney for the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Project (MCAP) representing abused and neglected children. In addition to the practice of law, she has been an active volunteer in the Wissahickon School District and on the Board of Directors for the Wissahickon Educational Opportunities Foundation (WEOF). She is also the Cedarbrook Country Club Representative for the Women’s Inter-Club Tennis Association of Philadelphia. She and her husband reside in Lower Gwynedd and are the parents of four children. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, golf, tennis, and spending time with her family and friends.
